New Lodge Fundraising Concert

The "New Lodge Wmc" at Barnsley was the venue for our first charity fundraiser and what a start!

Compere Harry Victor Turnstyle brought on "Jason Taylor" to open the show and what an amazing voice this bloke has, his range knows no boundaries! Next up was "rock diva" Helen Marie" who maintained the standard set by Jason superbly and ended her excellent spot with "Bohemian Rhapsody" The show was brought to a crescendo by the band "2 Out Of 3" who capped the nite superbly with rock classics performed par excellence!

East End Park Fundraising Concert

The "East End ParkWmc" in Leeds was the venue for our second charity fundraiser and proved to be far better than we could ever have envisaged. Harry Victor Turnstyle once again opened the proceedings and introduced compere "Simon Young". Simon is no stranger to treading the boards and his delivery as compere was excellent throughout the night, he held things together seamlessly whilst injecting his own style of humour!

Danny Tetley followed the upbeat mood set by Simon with a great variety of numbers once again bonded together with his somewhat "cheeky" humour! Danny knows his trade and his personality bounded off the stage!

Next up complete with feather boa was recording artiste "Kyla" who proceeded to inject a rock theme into the proceedings belting out once again a fantastic and varied selection of songs.

The man himself "Billy Pearce" took the audience firmly in his hand from his first word and kept them there till his last, the room was abound with the type of belly laughing that makes you ache afterwards, an absolutely sterling hour of myrth and merriment from this accomplished commander of comedy.

Bringing up the rear with his own unique style of delivery "Darren Yorke" powered thru the next half hour having flown in specially from Tenerife to appear on the show. Darrens repertoire was outfront and his rapport with the audience was exemplary. Joined onstage by "Simon Young" they brought the show to its finale in true style, a perfect end to a perfect evening!
